Dahl’s Pilsner has been a household name in Norway since the original E.C. Dahl brewed the first batch in 1856. This beer is one of the oldest pilsners in Norway, and is today still brewed with the same unique yeast that has been used for more than 70 years.

Dahls Pils has a beautiful golden colour. The aroma is characterised by banana with floral notes, both of which are a result of the yeast and hops used. This beer is medium-bodied, with a mild sweetness and a well-balanced smooth bitterness.

Pretty lame but did the job. 2.3 to 2.2. (13/4/23). --- Tap at Trondheim Camping & Graffiti restaurant. Quite easy going. 2.2 to 2.4.

On tap at Scandic Nidelven, pours a clear dull yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out notes of grass and straw. Flavour is pleasant enough, with notes of cereal, grass and straw. Refreshing and clean, but obviously not overly thrilling. Decent stuff.

From can 17.01.15. Very pale and clear straw colour. White lacing and diminishing head. Weak and sweetish aroma with a hint of maize and grass. Similar taste, with low bitterness. Decent drinkability, though boring.

0,5 boks på brygga, delt med Willy: klar gylden med hvitt, kort skum. Antydning til pilsaroma. enkel men kurant smak. Ingen ettersmak som er verdt å nevne. En ukomplisert tørsteslukker.

Draught @ Graffa, Trondheim
Pours deep golden with a minimal head.
Not much aroma; perhaps some malt and grass.
Sharp mouth feel.
Dry and grassy flavor with some notes of caramelly malt.
Tastes like Heineken.
