Dahl’s Pilsner has been a household name in Norway since the original E.C. Dahl brewed the first batch in 1856. This beer is one of the oldest pilsners in Norway, and is today still brewed with the same unique yeast that has been used for more than 70 years.
Dahls Pils has a beautiful golden colour. The aroma is characterised by banana with floral notes, both of which are a result of the yeast and hops used. This beer is medium-bodied, with a mild sweetness and a well-balanced smooth bitterness.

Tap from Bocca in Alesund. Poured a clear light amber with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a refreshing hop bitter palate. A pretty standard Norwegian pilsner but not bad as far as pilsners go.

Lys gulbrun farge med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter malt og noe metallisk. Lite smak og medium med kullsyre. En helt grei "sommerøl".

50cl can from Meny Ringnes park. Pours pale golden with a small, white head. Mild malty aroma with light notes of cooked vegetables and fruits and hints of grassy hops. Medium sweet with a quite light bitterness. Another boring industrial.

Draught at thai restaurant in Trondheim, 5.8.2012. Clear, golden colour with a medium sized white head. Light aroma with grains, hay, grassy and floral hops. Light bitter. Thin to medium body, thin texture with an average carbonation. Short, bitter finish. Harmless, managed to get the chilli burn away.
