Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Aroma: dark sweet berries with nuts and yeast. Flavour: sweet dark ripe berries with tangy notes and a bitter and sweet aftertaste. Colour: nutbrown with an offwhite head. From: 75cl Bottle as Gordon Xmas Imperial 2015 - sampled in 2016.

Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As Gordon X-Mas Imperial ]. [ Vintage 2015 ]. ABV: 9.4%. Clear medium to dark brown - red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, candy, caramelized malt - sugar, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, dark fruit - candy yeast, anis seed notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, caramelized malt, candy, dark fruit - candy yeast, warm alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20161018]

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, yeast, licorice, spices, malt and hops. Spicy malty finish.
