Bottle. Nice panther print on the bottle.. Color: Black, very light brown head. Aroma: Sweetish, roasted malt, notes of chocolate. Taste: Roasted malt, medium to over medium sweet, notes of molasses, liquorice, cocoa, coffee. Medium bitterness. Bittery palate. Medium body, below average carbonation. Not bad, but lacking some complexity and a bit boring in my opinion.

Bottle picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgium consumed at home Thursday 21st December 2017. Pours black with a huge foamy beige head. Bitter toffee, burnt roast malts, this is also quite hoppy, some liquorice, lingering bitter and very roasty aftertaste which goes on forever, the finish is dry. It's certainly not a cloyingly sweet Impy Stout, really like it. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9
