III:
The oldest standing Trappist brewery in the world is Westmalle, existing now for almost 200 years. Westmalle is largely known for their excellent Tripel, which is widely considered the archetype of the style, having inspired brewers the world over with its golden colour, complex bouquet of spice and fruit notes and effervescent bite. Consider us one of those inspired brewers. Abbey Tripel is our interpretation of the style: a balanced marriage of cracker-like Belgian pilsner malt, floral hop notes, and assertively spice-forward yeast that finishes with a warming character, solid bitterness and elevated level of carbonation – enough to scrub the tongue and prime you for the next sip. Treat it like a white wine for maximum pleasure.
