Kärrners Maibock ist ein helles Bockbier: Süffig und stark im Geschmack und gebraut mit feinstem Braumalz aus der Rhön und Aromahopfen aus Tettnang. Die Lagerzeit in unserer Gasthausbrauerei beträgt mindestens 10 Wochen. Dieses saisonale Bier ist ab Mitte April bei uns in der Hausbrauerei erhältlich. Kärrners Maibock hat einen Alkoholgehalt von 7,0 %.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Meike - thanks!]. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally starchy, pale malty and grassy, minimally floral hoppy aroma, a touch of floral honey. Taste is minimally starchy, pale malty with some residual sweetness, minimally diluted hints of honey, mildly bitter, slightly grassy and minimally floral, hoppy counterpart. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth, soft and silky, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, soft, dense creamy carbonation. Rather clean, fairly hoppy, well controlled sweetness, good balance overall, nice mothfeel - not bad.
