A mixed fermentation beer brewed with our house-cultivated wild yeast blend. Using our standard Púca Lemon as a base, we then add loads of apricot to the brew. The tartness of the lemon is balanced by the sweet juicy apricot notes. This mouthwatering mash is the perfect summer beer – citrusy, fruity and fresh from the first sip to the last drop.

Lattina.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a thin head. The aroma has notes of apricot, wheat, and brett. The flavor is sour with notes of lemons, apricot, wheat, and brett, leading to a tart finish.

Can at home, so this is a new experience. Hazy or opaque golden beer, no head. Aroma is heavy on the apricot but then sour apricots, if that is a thing, anyway apricot, tart/sour, citrus, lemon, some dough, has some hits of ''abrikozen vlaai'', a Limburgish/Dutch pie with apricots. Taste is very tart, citrus, lemon, hint of apricot. very dry and sharp aftertaste, cant say im a fan. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Púca Apricot - Dry Hopped Lemon Sour on 03 May 2020 at 21:14 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Keg at CW Family & Friends, Session 2 @Manchester Central, 22/02/20. Hazed orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is funk apricot, stale bread, sharp citric zest, hay bale, balsa wood. Taste comprises apricot yoghurt, hay bale, light yeast flicker, grains, trace of funk, wood must, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering kiss. Solid well balanced and easy drinking sour for the meagre ABV … a good dose of sharp apricot is delivered.
