The first stouts were brewed in London, originally designated as strong ales, they gradually became associated solely with porters and matured as a diverse style by their own merit. We wanted to do our London heritage proud, Last Train is full-bodied and creamy with a rich dark chocolate and roasted coffee flavour. A modern London beer, steeped in tradition.

Cask at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with very fine light brown ale. Aroma is coffee, licorice, a little vanilla. Body is average, like carbonation (desire cask). Taste is moderate in bitterness, with just a little initial sweetness. Final is fairly long with delicate bitterness.

Pitch b;ack with a ruby hue, good frothy tan head, half-way lasting. Aroma roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, coffee. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasted, dark chocolate, caramel, oats. Mild sweetbitter finish, sugary notes, some burnt caramel, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, lacks some depth and body but nice.
