Bottle at home @ ZZT 2024. Opaque dark brown to black color, small beige head. Aroma and flavor are weird, very sweet and sweet malty, green plants, odd. Not too bad tbh but odd nonetheless. 8-6-6-6-6

Bottled 330ml (Hoptimaal) Opaque brown colour, tiny brownish head. Rye bready aroma, toastyness. Light-bodied. Very thin for this ABV. Cough syrup, soya sauce and rye bread in the flavour. Strange. Probably now different than in 2020.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of bitter roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, caramel, chocolate malt and smoke. Taste has licorice, smoke, bitter roasted malt, chocolate malt, coffee and burned caramel. Nice classic imperial stout without all the bullshit. Pleasent surprise, I like this.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Dutch brewery #318. Pours pitch black with a short-lived beige head. Lots of yeast sediment in the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and some chocolate. Taste is maltbitter with a suitable bitter finish. Body could have been thicker but with its modest 9% ABV it's not that strange. Good clean standard (I.R.) Stout.
