33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Bruges. Rated on 16.07.2010
Aroma has citrus, some apricot and floral notes. Flavour is somewhat hoppy with grassy notes, some citrus, apricot and floral notes. Nothing to do with IPA, but a decent Belgian ale anyway.

Not the best IPA I’ve ever tasted, not the worst either. It’s my favorite beerstyle, but this beer is not one of the best though I still like it very much. It’s all a bit medium this beer. It’s nice, but there are no special things, nothing stands out.

bouteille 33cl sans date de consommation. Couleur, ambre/cuivre, col blanc.

I’m pretty sure this is a retired beer. One of the first IPAs i’ve tasted but definitly not the best. It scored nice but not as high a some other IPAs. This one is not really hoppy enough for me, but still a good beer.

Clear amber beer. Sweet malt, suprisingly not that hoppy!! Drinkable though!

Bottle. Pours clear amber, very bubbly, with a fluffy, off-white head. Malty aroma, with some light grain and caramel. Flavor is fairly sweet, with definite notes of caramel, some booze, bread, and mild, earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and some alcohol warmth. Finish is a little muddled, though mostly sweet and slightly syrupy. Not bad overall. Definitely nothing here in the ’IPA’ realm. Total misnomer, man.

33 cl bottle. Amber body with small off-white head. Flavour is malt, sweet and some hops behind the malt profile.

Bottle. Amber coloured pour with fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Malty, hoppy, caramel, nutty almost roasty taste, similar to an English IPA, not particualrly Belgian in taste. Give me a quality American IPA any day.

Draft @ Heeren Van Liedekercke, Denderleeuw. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma with some hints of yeast. Fruity malty fresh hoppy flavor with some yeasty hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.
