Steel Beach is a crisp, light-bodied, and refreshing lager named for the legendary Uncle Sam–sponsored beer-days aboard Navy vessels. Steel Beach is what a craft lager is all about: Pilsner malt, American hops, and lager yeast; best enjoyed at the end of a long shift or a well-deserved day off.

12 oz. can branded at 'Fightertown' from the SD Air & Space Museum. Grassy hops, water crackers, and lime zest. Sweet and yeasty, with a fairly bold, sticky bitterness. Light, crisp, and musty. Pretty hoppy and refreshing.

Draft. Golden-straw beer with a whitish head. Light grain aroma. Grain and light mineral flavor. Medium bodied. Grain and light mineral notes linger.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours bright gold with some fine bubbles and a foamy white head. Aroma is bready with light citrus. Near med body. Flavor is rather bland breadieness and citrus - but it has a bit of conbonative sparkle in the mouth. Better than meh ....
