A true full-malted, copper-blond tripel, with two varieties of malt and two breeds of hops. Its subtlety is strengthened through the exclusive use of grain during the brewing process, resulting in a beer with a rich, rounded mouth feel. This unique tripel is re-fermented in the bottle.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark amber, presumably filtered yet with bottle fermentation and some yeast in the bottle. Small, creamy head which never flattens completely. Very pronounced yest in the nose - and in the aroma. And perhaps some diacetyl also? Pronounced alcohol also. Has a very unpleasant and indefinable tang in the beginning which oddly disappears, when the beer warms up a little. 140505

Fluffy, bit honey-coloured head leaving some lace over orange-amber, clear beer. Bananaester, lots of it, and quite some caramel. Alcohol and faraway hops. Bitter almonds flavour, caramel. Very almondy character, cannot find the banana in the taste anymore. Caramel, ambrée and roasted malts. Some restsweetness. Alcohol in the finish. Rather well-bodied, thicker and chewier than most triples. Very warming. An ambrée tripel - nice. Actually, this is rather a super-alcoholic Speciale Belge, but who cares? Just a bit too almondy to my liking. Now, where is this brewed?

Hzay, amber body. Beautiful creamy brownish head, which becomes rocky after a while. The head is also mostly lasting. Malty and a little bit liquorous aroma. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish (lightly sweet). Soft, warm mouthfeel.

Beautiful amber color. Malty and a bit fruity aroma (banana); candi sugar. Some malt, but quite simple (too much candi sugar-like).

The aroma is very sweet, fruity (peach?) and spicy. The color is an unclear dark orange or amber and it has a fine though disappearing head. The flavor is sweet fruity with notes of caramel, banana, and peaches which gives way to alcohol prickling over the tongue. It ends on a prickling dry note. A really good triple

Fresh, 2013. Blonde, fairly alcoholic and slightly spicy aroma. Has a firm, malty and somewhat yeasty finish. Decent tripel. 4 7 7 4 14

Light amber colour; corky, apricot aroma with apple, yeast and even a hint of horseblanket. Sweet palate - candy floss, malts - somewhat cloying, even after a few years. Finish is slightly alcoholic, slightly acidic and stretches out a ways. Decently complex, and this aged bottle did show the odd oxidized note. 7-3-6-3-13 = 3.2
