Lo “Zero” è il meridiano di riferimento, che passa da Greenwich, sulle colline prospicienti Londra. Ambrata dai riflessi ramati, presenta al naso le note fruttate tipiche dei lieviti di stampo inglese. In bocca si avvertono il caramello, la frutta secca e il toffee, sapientemente bilanciati dalla luppolatura che regala un finale leggermente amaricante. Ottima come semplice bevuta, si abbina perfettamente a formaggi freschi, salumi, risotti, verdure grigliate e carni bianche arrosto.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are nuts, caramel, malt, fruits and hops.

cloudy brown, small fluttfy offwhite head. mild malty, sort of caramelly aroma. sweet. flavor is sweet malty, balanced by lots of uk bitter hops.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a huge beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruits, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy amber with a huge and frothy beige head with good retention. Nose has a little caramel and nuts. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, nuts and caramel with a subtle whiff of smoke. Dry and lightly bitter finish even with no real hop character. Pretty close to a British ESB. 200812

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a mild yeasty and toasted malty aroma. Toasted malty and light breadish to dry caramelish. Mild fruity, bitter and light herbal finish.

Bottle at Taste Firenze. Grassy. Earthy flavor, with minerals and light caramel and chocolate. Hints of tobacco as well. Finishes nicely dry. Well balanced, though the nose is a bit faint.
