Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from Italy. Pours caramel with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, caramel, biscuit, grain, earth, grass & hops. Medium body. Smooth dry finish

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per orzo e zucchero caramellato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il piano sottostante si presenta opalescente e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si fermano indizi di caramello, miele, cereali, frutta secca, erba e pane tostato.

On tap at de cervesia Lucca. A nice clear amber bitter. Lots of caramel malt in this one creates a nice and rich cask bitter, very easy to drink and enjoyable.

Draft @ Brassigaume ’13. Orangée, col crémeux beige. Arôme est houblonné, citronné, malté et caramel, fruité moyen, fleuri léger. Palais est légèrement houblonné, malt moyen sur une note épicée. Malt garde ce côté farineux, pain le tout relevé par un malt pâle et caramel. Effervescence moyenne sur des pointes de citronné. Le tout garde ce caractère bien belge qui fait la signature de Forte. Houblons restent dans un style euro - noble. Se termine sur une note levure accompagnée de ce houblonné citronné.

15 cl. draft @ Brassigaume 2013. Hazy dark amber with a white head. Nose is sweet caramel, toffee, hoppy, sweet malts, toffee, jammy. Taste is sweet malts, caramel, toffee, jam, syrupy coupled with some slightly floral & fruity hops. Syrupy, thick. Not bad, liked it more than the score on RB would suggest prior.

Cloudy amber color, generous head. The aroma is a bit yeasty. Good and soft malt flavor, soft body, with correct bitterness, Some yeast, light orange peel.
Very good cask ale, truly British.

Cloudy amber color; generous head. The aroma is quite yeasty. Sweetish malt flavor, with low bitterness, and too much yeast.
It should be filtered better.

Bottle 750ml.Light unclear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, light to modrate yeasty. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, riped fruit, caramel, yeasty, caramelized malt, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle, 5% @ FOneFan. Hazy dark amber with big off-white head. Aroma is malt and caramel. Flavour is malt, medium sweet, caramel, toasted, hop and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Really Late Ulfborg Summer Tasting, 2012. Pours slight unclear golden with a frothy white head. Citric. A bit of peach, yeast and grain. Quite rough. Bitter finish.
