Bottle. Hazy pale golden , low white head. Spicy nose, medium light sparkly body, light citrus, dry spices, chamomile, pleasant on the palate, full flavored finish.

Mild yeasty beginning. Fruity with herbs. Orange peel, herbs. Very nice floral, yeast, grain, fruity. Nice complex aromatic, floral with a nice soft yeasty aftertaste. Great!

Buddel: Pale golden, hazy, big and stable bleached head, mild citrussy/lemony nose with an even milder strawy background, coriander possibly added; mild - or very mild - bitter-sweet flavour with a delicate acidity, light bodied with a molecular tartness, but soft all in all; lemony and grainy finish. It is, what it is: a mild, quite well made summer drink…

Besteht aus Wasser, Hefe, Bio-Hopfen, Bio-Gerstenmalz, Bio-Weizenmalz, Bio-Haferflocken, Bio-Orangenschalen, Bio-Pomeranzenschalen, Bio-Koriander, Bio-Timut Pfeffer, Bio Kamillenblüten. In Bayern würde man als Brauer eines Biers mit dieser Zutatenliste vermutlich (nicht ganz unberechtigt) öffentlich nackt ausgepeitscht. Das die Zutaten aus Bioanbau stammen gibt aber ganz klar mildernde Umstände (wir sind keine Unmenschen). Recht helle, leicht trübe Farbe - ähnlich einem Zwicklbier. Geruch etwas Sekt, etwas Likör - recht mild. Den Sekt schmeckt man auch. Fruchtig, leicht säuerlich. Ein Hauch von Wermut schwebt vorbei. Süffig, noch nicht zu dünn. Nicht schlecht, aber angesichts der Zutatenliste etwas enttäuschend, was das Geschmacksspektrum und die Geschmacksintensität angeht. Wenn ich ein helles Weizen, ein leichtes Weizen und eine Berliner Weiße zu gleichen Anteilen mische, hab ich vermutlich ein ganz ähnliches Ergebnis. Wenn ich schon das Reinheitsgebot vergewaltige, will ich eine Geschmacksexplosion, die selbst mit besonderen Malz-, Hefe-, und Hopfensorten so schlicht und einfach nicht zu erreichen ist. Das muss dann auch kein Doppel- oder Tripelbock sein. Das schafft man auch bei normal starken Bieren.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, light yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Peppery spicy and slightly wheaty, minimally oaty malty, minimally floral aroma, notes of coriander, whiffs of white pepper, whiffs of chamomile and mustard seed. Taste is wheaty malty, slightly spicy and minimally zesty, citrusy fruity, minimally floral, hints of coriander, white pepper, a touch of chamomile, orange peel, bitter orange. Watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, sadly slightly overcarbonated, too dry and watery in a way that the adjuncts can't develop their full flavour profile - decent.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, grayish golden with a creamy and lacing white head. Yeasty nose with a hit of coriander. Light and fruity, slightly tart, orangey with a hint of bittering hops. As a summer refresher I can certainly see this work. In December, not so much. 071221

Bottle. Just slightly cloudy pale yellow sporting a decent white head. Aroma of grapefruits, coriander and wheat. Taste of oranges, grapefruits, wheat, oat and coriander. Zesty. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Watery. A light and refreshing midsummer night‘s drink.

Hazy golden. Aroma is wheat orange light hops and a little spices. Quite weak though. Taste is bitter orange and hops with a little wheat or weißbier body. Quite drinkable. Some of that mossy old cellar taste in the finish which is kinda meh. Overall not great, not terrible.
