I am not a big Octoberfest fan but this is rather nice. Tap at the Publick house. clear orange body with visible carbonation. Cann see through it. Small head turns into nice lacing. Aroma is very present - a spiced lager aroma. I also get a slight toasty flavor in the aroma. Rather sweet as well.

This is an outstanding octoberfest - very rich, huge malt character, almost bock-ish - subtle fruitiness, I swear I can taste strawberries in this one - long, lingering sweetness on the palate - southampton has made me love a beer in a style I don't care for that much, which is quite hard to do.
