Warning! Early amateur rating! A darkish beer. Unusual. The Manuka leaves appear to impart a limey mint flavour and cooling aftertaste. Moorish and tasty.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a finely bubbled beige head. Interesting aroma of spice and greenery. Medium body with somewhat sharpish carbonation. Flavor is light caramel sweet with a little spice and something like tea. Finishes mildly bitter; very mildly. Certainly different. Definitely drinkable.

33cl bottle. unclear caramelly orange, large thick head. Beer spilled over quite a bit when i opened it. nice citrusst and sweet and spicy aroma. lemon, grape, sweetness. flavor is lemon, orange, malts caramel, mild bitterness, very faint banana. A very refreshing brew, that still has a distinct belgian touch to it. This will appeal greatly to the occational beer drinker that gets put off by too strong or too flavorfull a beer.

[33cl bottle] Hazy, amber colour with a big, cream-coloured foamy head. Sweet malty and moderately yeasty nose with coriander spice and flowery accents. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Malt-accented taste with fruity and flowery elements, most likely derived from the manuka blossoms. Pretty slim, but flowery, thus quite aromatic finish with coriander spice [11.XII.08].
