Tulip pour @ the brewpub. Color is pale golden but a very thick beer, cannot see through it, very murky. But despite not clearing the beer there is still a shine/glow to it. (Just squeaking by with 3 for appearance). Aroma is at first sweet, non-distinct esters with a strong herbal (coriander?) hit on the nostrils. Flavor is a great balance of herbal and sweet Belgian yeastiness and fruity esters. As the beer warms the esters start to resemble pear and the herbal character really integrates well with the esters. Good mouthfeel, not heavy not too light, finely felt on the cheeks. I like esters, I like coriander, and I like Belgian, so all good things for me. Clear up the beer is my biggest suggestion.
