A German style wheat beer that employs a high percentage of wheat malt and a distinctive yeast strain to create an unforgettable thirst quenching beer. Traditionally cloudy, tart, and fruity, it is often served with a slice of lemon (upon request).

Tap @ brewpub. This beer comes to me as the headless wonder, surprising must be the stupid lemon they point on there or it sat a while before we got it at the table. Pretty still looking as well, dark yellow color, cannot see through it. Aroma is muted esters surrounded by a thick maltiness of muted dough. Just a very wrong balance there. Similarly, the flavor is just too thick on the muted malts and again misplaced esters. It is not that bad but definitely needs work and this is the only strike I had at the brewpub. Even the body is a bit too thick for a hefe.
