Saison

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazed amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of spice and malt. Light, clean body with flavors of tart fruit, bready malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a mild spice aftertaste. More or less average overall.

Shaker @ brewpub. Pour is dark copper/brown color, hazy cannot see through it. The strong head never fully fades and leaves a sticky lacing. Aroma is very grainy yet sweet molasses and caramel. The taste has less graininess and more just sticky sweet. There is a little bit of iced tea at the end. It is decent stuff, also a bit undercarbonated. This and the Dubbel were pretty similar, not much difference in the recipe it seems.
