½ pint jar pour at Fette Sau, man those jars are cute. It has a glowing hazy amber color and leaves a sticky lacing. Aroma is earthy and light American hops, its hoppy yet subdued. Taste is lightly hoppy with a light tingling tropical young berry flavor at the end. Its there but it makes very small impression. Easy drinking and light on bitterness but still comes off as a rather dull beer. I see where they were trying to go with this beer but they did not make it.

Tap at Fette Sau - this is an interesting take on a pale ale, with an odd, but somehow pleasant mixture of woody/twiggy earthiness that couples well with the hops - I picked up a strange fruitiness, but it wasn’t distinct enough for me to peg it as passionfruit - although it did seem quite tropical - crisp and nearly tart in the finish - certainly good with food, but by itself I would probably not be able to drink much of it.
