bottle split with bobochamps now first of all, my ’appearance ’ ratings are both on label and poured beer. always has been, always will be. this is a hard one. label is so nice, it hangs on my frontdoor now ( yeah, i do am THAT crazy) but the beerpour.. is light amber , no foam. i wouldnt say it looks bad, but i’d expected more. smell is hops, yet not as much as i expected. taste is very bourbon. now, i dont like bourbon, in any beer i had so far . except for this one... damn, this is not bad ! also got some hops in it, but again, more in the back compared to the bourbon . carbo is soft ( nice) mouthfeel is very thick. is this eisbocked? (prob, i supose making a beer 16 percent is very next to inpossible?) thickes ipa ever i guess ! alcohol warmth, yet still very drinkable. seek this beer, if onley for the sake of trying it !

75cl Bottle at Sloshfest. Hazy amber colour, no head. Still a bit young perhaps. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity, nice fruity and grassy hops, citrus, pine. Flavour is sweet, thick malts, fruity, firm underlying bitterness, pine, grass, citrus, firm grassy and pine bitter finish. Fullbodied. Nice stuff, just a little alcohol heat.
