Sampled from a 0.35l bottle @ RBNG 2014. This is a cloudy dark brown looking one, only a small light beige head that quickly fades. Mild roasted nose here with tones of waxy honey, some chocolate thing and darker types of malts. Tastes kinda cardboardy and papery at first. Sweet. Not directly tasty, but it has some flavors for sure. It has a light oily texture in the mouth and it's on the softer side on the bubbles. Lot's of older dry chocolate in the long sweet finish. 15.02.2014

0.33 bottle at Pivkan Beer Fest, Zagreb, Croatia, few years ago. Dark brown, red tint, creamy head. Faint aroma, some chocolate. Caramel flavors, bitter like wormwood, coffee with milk. Full body, soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from my Secret Santa, many thanks MisoW! Pours dark brown with a thick off white head. Sweet bready, molasses, roasted malty aroma. Flavor has caramel, sweetness, some roastedness and slight plummy notes. Bit too sweet for me.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts fine malty, dry, some earthy notes. Dry-metallically background. Smokey hints. Finish well balanced, intense malty. Nice!

Jun ’14. A 0.33 l bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured almost black body with small, but persistent brown head. Strong, sweet aroma of raisins, honey and roasted bread. Flavor was predominately sweet as well, also rather complex with various malty notes ranging from plain sugar do herbal-like spices like licorice, jägermeister, but also roasted coffee, peat. Herbal hops are less pronounced but they were definitely there. Full bodied, especially for not so high ABV, with finish mirroring the flavors and blending them more closely. Best of the evening so far, really a good beer!

330ml bottle thanks to Cuso! Pours a very dark brown with fast receding beige head, liquorice and toffee on the nose. Taste is milk chocolate, toffee, liquorice, molasses and a soft sweetness.. quite a nice blend actually.
