Shared by brandon. Bottle 4 of 216 - nearly flat purplish beer - just a spit of lacing. Aroma is all boozy. That’s bad as well as the dry barrel. But there are some good Belgian quad qualities hiding underneath such as plums, raisins, brown sugar, figs. Just wish the booze wasn’t there. Flavor is similar with very drying wood and just green alcohol. But the positive aspects is its not super sugary or sweet like a lot of American quads. Slightly toasty and earthy. Short finish not much else in the flavor. Lower carbonation.

Bottle 4 of 216 - nearly flat purplish beer - aroma is booze, plums, nutmeg, brown sugar, figs - smells decent, really, aside from the expected booziness - thin texture, especially for the abv - flavor is extremely boozy - the rye barrel dominates - earthy, bitter oak, lots of alcohol - a moderate licorice character in the finish, but again, the rye barrel and alcohol dominates - gigantic disappointment.
