Snifter pour at the brewpub comes to the table with a small head atop a dark ruby red body, its too dark to see through. Aroma is musty, musky , cherries and rotten apples with a mild acetic quality. Has a good cherry pit character . Mouthfeel is light with low carbonation. Flavor is tart cherry juice and much lower on the rotten apple character. It is drying and sour in the aftertaste, definitely strong cherry sourness but with wimpy body and mouthfeel. The best sour beer made in Kansas, that is for sure.
