Gravity firkin cask @ the Bourgeois Pig in Lawrence. Shaker comes to me with a small tan head and a black body. The head fades fast bit still covers the surface. Aroma is sweet chocolate with faint roast. There is a little bit of a fecal aspect. Some tropical fruit hops coming through. The mouthfeel is typical for a cask with a flatter body that feels thinner without the carbonation. Flavor is bitter black patenet malts with some creamy chocolate sweetness. Still a little fecal in there and sweetness that comes of adjunct-like. Thin and watery flavor throughout I like the regular version with its carbonation and not weird adjunct aspects.
