This was on tap at the brewery in Hermann. It was not even advertised as the pomegranate, I happened to overhear the bartender telling someone else about it. After inquiring myself, I was informed it was an experiment that the brewery was playing around with. Unfortunately, it was not my bag of tricks. The Hefe itself was not as estery as I would like, muddled. The pomegranate syrup was not sweet but grainy, just did not add anything to the beer I liked. It was light, well attenuated, good crisp body but not as Hefe-fy as I like it and the pomegranate (which I would never have guessed was even added) didn’t play out well or work with the beer.
