Tip Top Hop is a continually hopped IPA. What does that mean? Well most IPA’s have 3 hop additions, at the beginning, and two near the end. Not this one, oh no, we just keep adding. This builds a complex hop aroma and flavour. Placed atop a simple Malt bill helps accentuate that hoppy zing that we all look for!

Bottle @ fonefan berliner weisse, cream ale multistate tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops, flowers, fruits and malt. Semi bitter finish.

Cloudy amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Semi dry and crisp palate. Minerals. Mild fresh tangerine, orange, orange marmalade and fresh yellow grapefruit. Finishes sharply crisp and quite dry. Medium bitter aftertaste. Not bad, a bit dry but a nice medley of hop flavours.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clearish, bright gold with a creamy, white head. Lots of tangy lemon in the nose, almost sour, some plastic. Light sweet flavor, bitter plastic, dry lemon, astringent grass. Light to medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes with tangy lemon and plastic grass. The aftertaste is dirt and harsh grass. This beer is pretty rough and needs some work. Hopefully this is a bottling issue.
