Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, brown sugar, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100219]

Hazy deep amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour was sweet with dark fruits, roasted malt, caramel and hints od chocolate. Finished sweet.

Bottled. A very hazy chestnut-brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of nuts, caramel, malt, and some fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, candy sugar, malt, yeast, and a bit of fruit, leading to a dry lightly phenolic finish.

Bottle, 6%. Sweet, roasted and slightly phenolic aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is OK sweet and malty, has a little alcohol and a faint vinegary note in the finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruit and loads of phenols. Medium body, dried fruit, roasted malt with some alcohol. 190210

Good, fine tan head over reddish cola-coloured beer. End of bottle full of UFO’s. Dark malts & molasses’ nose. Faintly leafy, but predominantly quite sweet malts. Sweetness, very liquorice-like, is counterbalanced by a fresh acidity, that is partly CO², but partly different. Might seem like a very benign infection, but my money is on added lactic acid. Palate is rather empty, despite a sticky feeling that keeps lingering around in the back of the throat. Acceptable, but too bland and too sweet from a microbrew. There’s no point in concurrencing the big ’uns.
