At home, one of the 33 cl bottles delivered to De Bierkoning after a triangular Twitter conversation between Berghoeve, De Bierkoning & myself :-) Deep dark brown (donkerbruin) color, off white head. Aroma’s: Roasted malts, somewhat sweet, drop/laurel, some red fruit, currants/berries. Flavor is lightly sweet with bitterness at the back of the tongue. Medium bodied. Finishes roasted, ashy, with a mild bitterness. Nothing too extreme but very tasty.
