The Brown Bink is the 2nd Bink Beer to be brewed here, since 1997. This drinking beer goes down well with the amateurs of dark beer. The ingredients are: four types of malt, one type of Belgian hops, brewing water and yeast. Our Brown Bink is a full, softly bitter beer with a sweetish aftertaste of maltiness.

Bottle. Malty roasted aroma and flavour. Dark brown colour with a red hue. Hint of acidity that I could have done without, but still a very good beer for the ABV. Has a little cellared/aged sherry-like flavour to it, that does not harm this beer.

Beige head, dense, reasonably stable; dark brown beer with ruby shine. Rich dark malts nose, bit of sweet chocolate, banana, dark fruit. Taste of chocolate, sweet coal imitation, cocoa, bit of liquorice. Palate has a marked bitterness - chicory-like, but not overwhelming. Well-bodied, not heavy. Sticky mouthfeel. Nice brown. Nothing awe-inspiring, just decently crafted and pleasing.

Deep brown colour, brownish head. A lot of yeast in the body. (My own fault, should have taken more care of the bottle). Moderate malty aroma, quite good lacing. The flavour starts quite neutral, but gets quite bitter. A very long-lasting bitter finish.

Cloudy dark brown color, medium brown creamy head. Aroma is malty from dark chocolate and some burned malts. Taste is more roasted malty, very thin. Watery and dry palate.

Bottled. Mahogany colour, clear, smallish head. Deep raisniny aroma with obvious smokiness. Dry and fruity with light body and soft mouthfeel. Salty, smokey finish.
