Fra fad på Tap1 mai-13: en fed belgsik tripel, med flad, oljet munnfylde og emmen eftersmag. Serverede for varm? En af de få der gik i vasken.

Very unclear. Aroma of ripe bananas and weissbier. Decent taste, combination of belgian triple and string weissbier. Oily mouthfeel, misses its intended style

Bottle. It pours a hazy, yellowish-golden body under a dense, off-white head. Some lacings. Coriander, citrus, some alcohol, herbal notes, pale malts and a generic spicyness in the aroma. Some piny hops. The flavor has a little bitterness, lots of coriander, and some citrus, alcohol and pale malts. White sugar too. Medium body, lightly warming, with a decent carbonation. Bitter, citrus peel finish. Not really sure about this one, but it’s sort of nice. Could easily drink more of this one. 130430

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft – apparently this is supposed to be a blend of a wheat beer and a triple or something… Pours a murky brownish orange with a creamy white head. Smells of overripe dark fruits, light sugar and overripe banana. Taste is sweet banana, near hint grenadine, toffee, sweet spices, creamy, sweet yeast, sugar, coriander, light yeast,… Creamy body. Like an overly sweet Hefe – a concept that is bound to scare away a lot of people and especially purists but that sort of appeals to me. Is this supposed to emulate the desert given the sweetness? Not very likely I assume.
