As "Deventer Triple". Typical Tripel aroma of malt, spicy yeast, fruits, citrus. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. Drinkable, but a bit too sweet for its own good.

Pours clear golden with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, banana, pear, soggy white bread, corn, yeast, coriander. Taste has sweet pineapple, estery banana, thick yeasty & bready profile with some spices. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, still spicy & estery with apparent jenever-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Correct but cliché.

Golden color with chunks of yeast. malty, vinous aroma. A slight hopbitterness in the flavor is beaten by a strong alcohol character. Likeable, but not too well balanced. Bottled 15/06/04 tasted 06.01.08: Sold as Deventer triple. Golden color. Malt, honey and a hint of flowers in the aroma. malty sweet flavor with flowery hops and pineapple. Soft flowery vanilla bitter aftertaste. Well balanced tripel, maybe a bit thin. (7 3 7 3 13 = 3.3)

33cl Bottle, thanks Thijs. As Deventer Triple. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruits, pear, peach, yeast, light malty, light floral. Flavour is likewise, subtle sweetness although it feels a bit sugary at times, fruity, soft bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Decent tripel.
