Boutielle 75cl, ambrée, col fin beige. Arôme est boisé moyen, houblonné noble, mais sans plus, retrouve ici aussi ce profil savonneux de brett qui ’ajoute pas vraiment qcq chose en terme de caractère à la bière. Palais est haut en terme d’effervescence, boisé moyen, léger brett surtout en fin de bouche qui ici aussi donne ce léger profil abricot - brett. Ce dernier est trop marqué pour vraiment permettre au boisé de se créer sa vraie place. Un houblonné noble contribue au développement d’un léger citronné en guise d’amertume.

Sampled @ RBBSG III. Slightly unclear yellow orange color, small white head. Smell and taste are lightly fruity, lightly bitter, lightly apple peel, green apple, brett. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of dried fruit, banana, bubblegum, bread, barnyard, raw sugar and wood. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of raw sugar, wood and barnyard. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. OK.

Bottle sample at my 5555th rating tasting at Sar HaMashkaot Ramat Gan. Thanks Alex Shmoo-Shmoo. Clear deep golden with a big off-white head. Aroma of mild funk, fruitiness (some pineapple popsicle) and light oak. Sweetish flavor, fruity and a bit oaky with a dry finish. Medium-bodied.

Clear orange beer, big aery fluffy off-white head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: pretty sweet, little soapy, lots of banana, overripe fruits, lots of bubble gum, little smoky, hint of liquorish. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: little sourish, sweet, lots of banana, fruity notes, bitter touch, little dirty, bretta notes, but very soft. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, dry, citrus, little hoppy, dry ending.

Good, slowly dissolving dirty-cream head over clear copper-orange beer; gradually more yeasthaze. Brett, wood, touch of chocolate, leather, horseblanket aromas. Dry, nearly tart. Wood and organic acids, lactic acid foremost, faintly lemony. Faint dry-out effect. Carbonation more in the feel than the visual would suggest. Fully attenuated, light body. More aftertaste (none new) than the French oak, it would seem. Visually more difference with the French oak, than tastewise.

[75 cl. bottle][@home][Procured from Delhaize][BBF 16/01/2019] Pours a dark peach orange, very hazy with a huge creamy, slightly off-white milky head. Lacing is huge. Smells of ripe peaches, slightly fermenting apricots mixed with brett, salty toffee, lactic sourness and fresh oak. Tastes of overripe peaches, brett, caramel, toffee, minerals, minor salt, touch ripe peaches, wood is minor here and feels like fresh wood and finish is fementing fruits, rocks and minerals. Carbonation is very high and bubbly giving it a light soda feel. This is not perfect but it feels like it will improve in the coming couple of months and it is a far more interesting and complex beer than initially expected. I am quite surprised here.
