Rather weird and stale aroma with some fruit, probably the guava. Also some nettles and hints of ash. Rather foamy palate. Flavour is stale with ash, flowery notes, some nettles and herbs. One weird brew and not very saison-like, would fit better in the spice/herb/vegetable department.

Bottle thanks to HOPSHUNTER. Perfect hazy orange with thick, full lasting head. Plenty of retention. Nose of Belgian yeast, spice and fruit. I can’t remember if I ever had a guava fruit. But I really pick up a different fruit flavor from this brew. A slight sour note in here. You would have to really know what a guava fruit tastes like to pick it out. Super easy to drink. Finish is short. Withe the fruit getting more evident as it warms.

750ml bottle @ Patricks. Hazy orange body with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, citric and spicy. Flavor is very refreshing, spicy, fruity and oranges, not much bitterness. Medium body, fruity aftertaste. A bit unusually but nice and refreshing beer.

Entering old rates. From the BB Bolita release party along with many snifters throughout the years. Une bière qui a bien évoluée au fil des ans, et contient cette petite note unique de levure belge donnée par Saint Somewhere. La goyave est bien présente rajoutant un aspect tropical frais à l’arôme et en bouche. Une goyave qui reste peut être plus tonique au nez que en bouche où le profile saison reprend le dessus sur le fruit qui reste en retrait mais toujours présent. L’avantage de la purée donne une meilleur consistance au lieu d’un palais rappelant trop l’extrait ou le jus de fruit.

Medium offwhite head. Hazy orange body with strong carbonation. Intensely fruity pineapple aroma with vinegary lemon and wood notes. Dry-sweet intensely fruity pineapple and peach taste with metallic wooden notes. Mid-to-full body. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish wooden papery peach aftertaste with mealy resiny herbal notes. Amazingly fruity taste; the vinegary background is a bit strange, but it’s still a great beer. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)

Bottle @ Home. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of bready malt, sweet fruit, apricot, slight peppery / spicy notes. Taste is malt, bread, light notes of caramel, apricot and other sweet fruit (might be guava, but never had it, so dont know the taste) light spicy. Medium body, lively bording to aggressive carbonation. 091211

750 mL bottle from Once Upon a Vine, Richmond, VA. Pours a hazy orange with a massive head. Frothy, white and actually pretty hard to pour. Aroma of peppery and bready notes, and guava. The taste is very similar... guava, bread, peppery notes, bready notes, some herbal-ness. Medium bodied.

Pretty cloudy dark orange to amber beer, off-white to yellowish aery head, unstable, dissipates rather quickly. Aroma: citrus fruits, green banana, bit spicy. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: bit metallic, green banana, bitter, some citrus, acidic, strange fruity, spices, kiwi. Aftertaste: little bitter, some banana. Weird fruity beer, not bad but not kick-ass either.
