Dobry mocny i lekko uderzajacy belgian strong ale. Buteleczka ciekawa, lakierowana, piekna i trwala puszysta piana, zloto pomaranczowy kolor. Finisz slodowy i troche alkoholowy, ale nie przeszkadza to w degustacji.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a white head with medium bubbles and medium lasting. Aroma is yeasty, light alcoholic, cookies and slightly citrus. Flavor has notes of cookies, butter, sweet, yeast and alcoholic. Smooth and creamy on palate with a moderate sweetness.

Bottle at ’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske. Smell of syrup and citrus. Amber colour, hazy. Bitter and citric. Rather much IPA qualities.

bottle from beer planet. clear yellow, smooth white head. Aroma is quite malty, slightly flowery, soemwhat sweet spicy, flavor is malty, hay, yeast, sweet spices, alc. flavor is a bit sweetish overall, but the high alc. as well as some bitterhopping makes it a little bitter and quite easydrinking. There’s this grassy hay flavor note that I don’t really like so much, but overall it’s pretty decent.

33cl bottle, BB 07/02/2014, courtesy of Alain @ Restobières.

33 cl. flip-top bottle // purchased from ALBO @ home // deposit in half of the price of the beer itself which I thought was hilarious // golden, bright, rising bubbles, small, creamy, fluffy head // wow, that is a specific smell, lots of almonds, very almond (?) heavy, sweet, white bread, cornflakes, Belgian yeast, this very heavy smell, dominating everything that I know but cannot pinpoint, I think that it is almonds which I wrote down first // sweet almonds, almonds, almonds, white bread, Belgian yeast, decent amount of lemon, cornflakes, white sugar, bitter finish, touch floral in the back, bitter almond finish // fizzy // almond beer, seriously those are almonds, aren’t they? // odd, very intriguing

Bottle. Just hazy gold with a large white head that’s never less than a coat. Aroma of dough, some cheese, vanilla, cloves, oranges, apricots, cardamom. Sweet with oranges, sugar, lots of dough. Creamy mouthfeel. Spices come though at the quite bitter ’tho not dry finish. Alcohol pretty well hidden, considering. Heavy on the yeast. Feisty and likeable.

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 30.05.2013. Rated on 02.09.2011
Fruity aroma has apricot and hints of spice. Flavour has alcohol, strong apricot and it is somewhat spicy. Sinol‐like alcohol in the finish, but still the alco fits here somehow.

Biggish offwhite head. Hazy deep yellow body with carbonation. Deep mealy oranges and tropical fruit aroma with herbal musty notes. Very mild and harmonic. Dry-sweet sharp old books and oranges taste with resiny soft metal and herbs notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry-bitter herbal oranges and old books aftertaste with soft metal and grass notes. A touch of dandelion, too. Very hoppy for a Belgian, but nice and balanced even so. (0.33l bottle, Beer Planet, Brussels.)

Don’t like the color very much, again a hazy orange. Boerken was almost the same but I favor it slightly. Not a bad beer though.
