Don’t like the color very much, again a hazy orange. Boerken was almost the same but I favor it slightly. Not a bad beer though.

Strong on alcohol, not a lot of body though. It’s a well drinkable beer. Liked the boerken better though.

8/05/2011 33cl bottle @ Zee-Zee (Blankenberge) - BB: 29/4/12 (2011-198)

Very cloudy orange to beige coloured beer, white creamy head. Aroma: hops, a bit of malts, bit fruity. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: lots of hops, citrus fruits, even a touch of passion fruit. Just very fruity in general, but not sweet at all. Aftertaste: dry hops, pretty bitter, a bit of dairy, yeast maybe.

(Bottle, Monk’s CafΓ© Wallingatan, Stockholm) Golden amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, orange, mandarin and spicy hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of apricots, orange, tropical fruit and a generous floral, citrussy, spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Almost full body, fairly sweet, with soft carbonation. Excellent balance makes it deceptively drinkable for its strength. Lovely triple with a grassy, citric, almost saison like character. Very nice.

Bottle in Oost Vleteren. Clear yellow, huge cloud-type head. Aroma has lots of fresh bread dough and citrus. Malty, full bodied taste. Interesting bottle and glass, his and hers beers.
