Tap @ BBF ’13. Hazy brown color. Aroma’s: fruit, brown sugar, with smoke, brown sugar & sweet & sour fruit retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, a bit roasted, hint of sourness. Medium bodied.

Leicht saurer Antrunk, malzig, mit der Zeit süßer werdend. Endet geringe Intensität, leichte Kirschnoten. Würzig, zum Ende rauchig. 8/9/10/10//10

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Red-hued brown with no head. Nose is sweet syrup, caramel, prune syrup, dried dark fruits, sticky spices, Barley Wine Alvinne-style. Taste is sweet, dark fruits, prunes, figs, jam, caramel, brown sugar, sweet, toffee malts, vanilla, very sweet. Flat, sweet, nothing in common with the old one, new style Alvinne. Good stuff, good, keep it up.

@Borefts 2013 bruin nagenoeg kraagloos aroma: hout, vanille, caramouten,licht zuurtje smaken: redelijk zoet, licht bitter, fruitig, zuurtje aardig maar niet bijzonder

Sampled @ Borefts 2013. Hazy dark red color, almost brown. Virtually no head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly sourish, maybe a touch of smoke, some sweetness. Lightly alcoholin the finish. MMedium body and carbonation.
