Thx! to Martinus for the share. Bottle sampled during Borefts 2013. Cool label. Black with a beige head. Nose is sweet, oak, coffee, chocolate, brownie, sweet, brown sugar & light pine hops. Taste is sweet caramel, toffee, coffee, hint vanilla, finish is a bit bitter, some herbs & hops. Body is a bit light for the style & ABV. Nice stuff.

Bottled. Black colour with a tan head, medium lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is licorice, toasty, coffee and light bittery. Flavor is moderate sweet and bittery, buttery, coffee and black chocolate, toasted malts, some red fruits and raisins are present. Creamy and smooth final with a decent bitterness and coffee sensation.

23/11 0.33 l bottle from L’Espumossa, Barcelona. It poured black body with medium sized brown head. Caramel, cappuccino and licorice aroma. Bitter flavor at first, but it soon gets rounded to sweet creamy chocolate, coffee and caramel. Somewhat milky, or that was just an impression of its creamy full body, although lower ABV than usual for the style was obvious. Sweet, long cocoa and slightly herbal. Very nice beer, glad to see good ISs in the area.
