Tap at Borefts ’13, 27/09/13. Light black with a thin tan head that dissipates edgeward. Nose is big roast malts, booze, cocoa, earthy. Taste comprises light roast, brown sugar, woody oaky tones, booze, light chocolate tang. Full bodied, fine carbonation. Very drinkable for 13% ABV but lacks a little depth for me.

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. As ’Imperial Stout’. Opaque dark brown beer with a small pale tan head. Light dry palate with fine carbonation. Dry dark malts, some spice. Touch of wood. Dry finish. Hides the abv well but bordering on bland.

Malzig bitterer Antrunk, trocken röstig. Minimal und eher unpassend fruchtig, die Malzaromen verwässern mit der Zeit stark. Nicht sonderlich. 12/8/7/7//8

Tap @ BBF ’13. Black color. Aroma’s: Roasted malts, a bit fruity, with alcohol and a bit of wood retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasty, fruity. Strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Guess this needs a retry at some point.

Borefts 2013 - Quite a woody, sour aroma. Also quite boozy. Woody, dry taste. Quite fruity and a little sour for a stout.
