Straw gold in colour, a balanced malt bill gives a great mouth feel and a finish that keeps on giving. Restrained bitterness followed by massive peach, pine & resinous hop flavours to keep you satisfied. A session IPA that’s perfect for the end of the day (or the start).

Hazy, light straw-coloured with a white, medium-bubble head. The aroma is of zestful citrus fruits, primarily lemon, light pine, and a touch of stone fruit. The body is medium, rather dry, juicy, and has a fairly high carbonation. The bitterness is medium, reminiscent of grapefruit with resinous notes. Citrus and coniferous forest with a hint of stone fruit flavour. It quenches thirst well, definitely a beer for hot weather.

Can on 19th February 2026 from Zapp via Deliveroo. Pours a hazy dull yellow with minimising off-white foam and spot lacing. Spiced tropical fruits and citrus in aroma. Citrus juices and peels in-mouth with hints of smoky spices. A grassy note in an otherwise sweeter finish of juicy fruits. Full bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Keg at The Hanging Bat (2014) and can from Lupe Pintos (2025). Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon sherbet, mandarin and bay leaf. Flavour of grapefruit, lychee and straw. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A crisp, refreshing beer.

Tap@ Patricks. A surprisingly well made session IPA, had no expectation just grabbed one to enjoy at the patio a warm evening. Hazy golden with a decent white head. Fresh fruity aroma and same with the flavor. Some pleasant bitterness as well and all in all a rather well balanced one for a session ale. Even fine body and nice aftertaste.

Can from Beer52. Cloudy pale gold with small white top. Aroma is fruity and slightly funky with citrus, overripe mango and herbs. Taste has a certain mixed citrus zest and pith, some tartness, passionfruit, pale malts, with a drying herbal and bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slick, crisp fine carbonation. Certainly a good SIPA. Not sure its a top 10% one as the scores currently suggest but I'm not complaining - enjoying this while typing.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Vauxhall, London, 21 May 2023) Cloudy yellow colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grass, lemon peel and white bread. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grass, bread and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. Refreshing, crisp and tasty. Very nice.
