Straw gold in colour, a balanced malt bill gives a great mouth feel and a finish that keeps on giving. Restrained bitterness followed by massive peach, pine & resinous hop flavours to keep you satisfied. A session IPA that’s perfect for the end of the day (or the start).

Keg at The Hanging Bat (2014) and can from Lupe Pintos (2025). Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon sherbet, mandarin and bay leaf. Flavour of grapefruit, lychee and straw. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A crisp, refreshing beer.

Tap@ Patricks. A surprisingly well made session IPA, had no expectation just grabbed one to enjoy at the patio a warm evening. Hazy golden with a decent white head. Fresh fruity aroma and same with the flavor. Some pleasant bitterness as well and all in all a rather well balanced one for a session ale. Even fine body and nice aftertaste.

Can from Beer52. Cloudy pale gold with small white top. Aroma is fruity and slightly funky with citrus, overripe mango and herbs. Taste has a certain mixed citrus zest and pith, some tartness, passionfruit, pale malts, with a drying herbal and bitter finish. Light to medium bodied, slick, crisp fine carbonation. Certainly a good SIPA. Not sure its a top 10% one as the scores currently suggest but I'm not complaining - enjoying this while typing.

Takk til Cimbasso for denne 0,44 boksen, nydt på hyttetur i Ilsvåg: uklar strågul den med fint skum som varer. Citrus, urter, gress og barskog. God tørsteslukker etter en 12 km fjelltur.
