Mørk brun med beige fyldig topp som varer. Aroma; Malt, gjær, sjokolade, karamell, plomme. Smak; Plomme, malt, sjokolade, mørk karamell, kaffe. Myk munnfølelse. Lang saftig ettersmak.
Malty, chocolate, biscuits, rich. This is actually quite a good surprise, drinks well. On point with the style.

0.5 l bottle from 'Trinkgut Knödgen', best before May 2024. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of chocolate, coffee, some hazelnut and light caramel. Gently sweet, malty, moderately roasty-bitter taste of chocolate, coffee, roasted hazelnut, some caramel and light licorice, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, minimally dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Porter, but not nearly as great as the average suggests.
