Bruin met fijne bruine kraag Aroma: rookmout, caramout, eentonig en overheersend Smaken: redelijk zoet, matig bitter, sterk, sterke mouten; caramout en gerookte mouten, redelijk kruidig Medium body, ding, afdronk lang en kruidig Pilsbasis met uitschieters van de gerookte en caramouten, mwaah!

Backlog: Bottle (6.2%). Brown color. Aroma’s: light smoke, nutty, some malty sweetness and a light acidity. Flavor is smoky, lightly sweet. Medium bodied. Finishes still smoky, but quite mild overall. Quite nice.

Personal contribution @ ‘The Adam Jackson Tasting’. Murky brownish appearance with a taned head. Deep burned meat and plastic smoke in the nose, comes across a bit fake. Overripe fruits and odd tad plastic smoked malts, touch bitter, murky, caramel, candy sugar, red grapes,… Murky, fuller, touch plastic body. Typical English beer style ??? – it is palatable but not really what a smoked beer should be for me.

A - Looks like burnt amber beer with no head.
S - Licorice and smoked malt. Very smoky, dominates everything else.
T - Sort of malty, dry, hints of wheat and candy corn. This is all under a huge amount of smoke. very strong and dominating. not enjoyable. I do like the brett funk and dryness a lot though.
M - Light carbonation and body
O - This is pretty hard to finish. Very smokey, not much of a porter

Little cloudy red brown beer, yellow to beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty smoky, spices, chloride, ashes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: smoky, some citrus, fruity, dried fruits, bit of caramel. Aftertaste: smoky, pretty bitter, some spices. It's smoky, but that's pretty much it. Not as much porter as one would expect.
