Bottle from Beer Planet. Clear blond colour with small off-white creamy head. Aroma is belgian yeasty, grassy hops, touch of orange and lemon. Taste is very nice. Quite soft, orange, herbal element, little bit of bitterness at the end, touch of cream. Really tasty, and lots of flavour given it is only 5%. Really nice again from DLS. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wadesda #3 on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Bottle split at Scopey’s 5K Extravaganza of Oompah Band meets doorbell - thanks to Leighton, 15/02/14. Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering that retains well. Nose is tangy orange sherbet, straw, mandarin, light spice, lemon rind. Taste comprises tangy orange, lemon sherbet, straw. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff a touch better than #2 certainly in terms of drinkability.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Thanks to Mr 5K. Hazy gold beer, big white head. Light airy palate with mild fine carbonation. Light latose. Minerals. Mild bitter floralness. Touch of citric bitterness. Finishes dry. Okay but.a bit airy.

Bottle shared at the Scopey 5K tasting - I pulled this one from the depths of the LKS cellar. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. The nose is all doughy wheat, yeast, citrus. Light-medium sweet with dried dough, more wheat, mellow grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately drying on the finish with faint grass, more dry wheat. Nice enough.

Bottle at my 5K tasting. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, grain, pear drops, apple and icing sugar. The taste is crisp, hay, light pear drops, apple, dough, grain and white sugar with a dry, bitterish finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Ho hum Belgian ale.

Cloudy blond color with large head. The aroma has a rare pungency, some cellar and rubber character. The mouthfeel is dry, it’s highly carbonated; the flavor is spicy and bitter, bordering into some astringency in the ens and some chicory bitterness.
