bottle@home: very loud pop-sound when opened the flip top, poured a hazy golden/honey colour, smells of alcohol, yeast & plenty of hop, taste is strong on bitter hop, noticeable booze, honey, some yeast, bit sweet, some herbs, pepper, hint of lemon, bit too much carbonation for me, not bad, somewhat interesting but there is better stuff around, still not bad

Pours with huge head and a foggy yellow colour. Okay scent of hops and caramel. Taste is heavy syrup and hops with an alcohol finish. I don’t think I like these bon secours guys.

5th November 2008. Hazy blonde beer. Dry sweet creamy araomatic malt let down by a spicy but over dry finish. 7th March 2010. A 10% version on tap - but it’s not the Noel. Cloudy blond beer. A little offputting pukey malt on the nose. Dry palate. Creamy malt. Sweet orange, a little floralness. Hints of dry brandy. Finishes dry, minerally and with some alcoholic heat.

Bottle. Very malty aroma with citrus notes. Tastes of coriander, barley sugar, sweet spices. Can really taste the alcohol in this one. Has quite a warming finish.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Goes hazy with the sediment. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of canned peaches, tropical fruit and fresh grass. Fruity taste with peaches, pineapple and a spicy finish. Not very bitter, but way too sweet. Gets drier, spicier and more balanced with the sediment poured in. Decent Belgian blonce.

A hazy golden ale with a thick white head. In aroma, orange blossoms and corainders with honey, perfume, very pleasant. In mouth, a rich and creamy ale with loads of curacao, coriander, complex and enticing. Bieropholie import. BB 12-10

Bottle from Half Time (2010). subtitled harvest ale/saison. Suggest ssaison dunkel. Same rating as before, except overall goes to 16. Bottle from Sun Devil in Mesa, AZ. BBE 05. It’s an oldy. Amber gold color with a frothy white head. Aromas of peppery hop and fruits. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Malt. Mild pepper. Yeast. Fruit. Heat is hardlly noticeable. It finishes quite astringent. Time has certainly not harmed this ale.
