Cask at the Blue Lion, Holborn. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, malt and hop. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Towards medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Some years since I had this and remember it to have been better.

Cask, half pint at Goat Tavern, London. Clear deep amber color with thin creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, bread and grassy and floral hops. Taste starts with light sweet caramel and toffee, follows by bready notes and mild fruity acidity and light bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. A really nice and pleasant session ale. Tasty and easy to drink. Amber color with a thick off white head. Toffee, hoppy and fruity aroma. Lots of caramel in the flavor. Also nice fruity and hoppy.

Bridge oin Heathrow. DRk orange-brown, bubble head. Plain nose, oenhe.tobacco, grass but faint. Rich malt, caramel, bread, chocolate, erthy hops, minerals, grass. Really rich and malty like a brown almost. Ok, but not mymthng.
