33cl swing top bottle. Almost explode when opened, made a mess. Dark yellow to light orange, slightly hazed, enormous rocky white head. Nose is unexpectedly quiet, some hoppy notes. Aroma is fruity (pear and apricot), fuel notes, grainy malt, some dark sugar, spicy notes of almond. Well hopped, grassy. Medium bodied, carbonated, dry finish, lingering bitterness with alcohol leftover. But overall rather smooth. As i think of it it reminds me Lefevbre Floreffe and Orval. Nice one.

hazy mohey-yellow colour, extremely huge white head; aroma yeast, floral and grassy hops, maltyness, hints of honey...and yeast, yeast and yeast again...HUGE AMOUNT OFYEAST! taste of malty sweetness, some candy sugar, grassy hops, white wine - thanks to the yeasts...it’s really like the substance of a wine cellar; very starnge, maybe a bit exaggerated, but still great

Bottle from the beer palais at Watou. Finally I get to try this beer after seeing it everywhere in Poperinge. Pours cloudy yellow, very fizzy large head, first sip gives pineapple sponge, honey, banana, malts, mild hops.. very summery with more of a light sweetness than I imagined. Nice beer.

Bottle. Barley malt aroma. Cloudy light amber with a moderate white head. Slightly sweet fruity barley malt, light spice, and light alcohol flavor. Medium body, lively carbonation.

Tap at De klep, Venlo, 27/04/13. Clear light golden with a mahoosive frothy white head. Nose is citrus, oraange sherbet, spice, toasted malt, hops. Taste comprises caramel, touch of booze, orange, spice, herbal notes. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Decent stuff, a hopped up Belgian strong. The alcohol was very well integrated, drank like a 6% jobby!

A light bodied hoppy ale, bordering on tripel territory. Pours hazy golden with towering foamy, yet lasting head. Hops are at the forefront (duh!), semi-sweet and flowery. Still has a way to go to reach Chouffe Houblon class, but pretty good nonetheless.

Dark blond colour, a lot of nice white foam. Easy drinkable beer, a bit sweet with bitter finish. Hoppy aroma.

Flaske fra Belgisk Bryg delt mrd Ovesen på slutten av en fin bryggerisøndag: enormt, blendahvitt skum som oppfører seg eksemplarisk. Lys gylden litt uklar. Aromaen gir assosiasjoner til blomkarse midt på sommeren, og smaken litt om grønn te med sitron og honning. En herlig sommerøl, må oppsøkes i fatversjon i Belgia til sommeren!

Head, giant, white, frothy. Colour is some dirty golden-amber and hazy.
Aroma: yeast, some nutty turkish delight sweetness, yet dry. Gets fruitier as it warms up. Taste: pretty bitter, slightly fruity with a spicy and bitter finish. Unfortunately, also had some kind of off-flavour -something between yeasty and boiled vegetables that spoiled it all.

Bottle at Cafe De La Gare, Den Haag. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a big frothy head and lots of carbonation. The aroma is fresh, dry, yeasty and with some malty notes. The flavour runs along the same lines. The bitterness is quite strong and lasts well into the aftertaste for a very refreshing beer.
