Draft at The County. Golden pour with a creamy white head, lacing. Soft cereal, grainy aroma. Biscuity taste, bready with some sweetness. Much better than I was expecting .

Can at home in the garden courtesy of a neighbour. Typical macro lager and very much a case of why bother? Yes, if you drank it chilled to buggery on a blinding hot day, but otherwise life is too short. And look at the ingredients - hop paste!

A tap pour at the White Hart in Warrington. Golden with a head and a steady carbonation. Light malty aroma, crisp and pleasant enough amongst macro lager choices. Found again at the Rummer Tavern in Cardiff City Centre, although only as the choices were so limited.

Found on a train. Them’s the best. 4.4% brewed in the UK. Passable logger but it’s far removed from the litre bottles I’d neck over in Spain staying at the sister in law’s apartment cooking prawns on a grill. But you know.
