From tap in Madrid. Clear pale golden with a white head. Lightly malty aroma with a hint of metal. Sweet and lightly malty with a hint of acidity. Goes down quite easy in the heat, but quite boring beer. (2012-08-16)

33 cl. can brought back to me from Spain // passed around in the car & shared // personal contribution // don’t really know about colour & not much say about smell // I suppose most people drink this anyway from the can // as far as the appearance goes, I like the can, trying to ride the wave of Euro 2012, red can with red shaded image of what I suppose to be a famous Spanish football player and an image of generic football players // some not bad sweeter side of malts & grains, sweetness nicely works in its favours, light grass, touch floral finish, hint of hops // not too many off-flavours but maybe it is because it was so cold // easy drinking, light, not bad, as far as macro pale lagers go this is not bad // can was close to ice cold & straight from the fridge

Bottle 33cl. A poor and bored beer that it is ideal to go to "tapas" but no for other plan. I recommend to drink this beer very very very cold in order to get down as soon as possible and don not appreciate its taste. Not recommended at all...

Originally rated September 2006. This Spanish lager pours a pale golden colour with a good white foamy head that has a decent stay and leaves great lacing all around. Carbonation is consistent. Nice fresh malty scent at pour, but after breathing, a strong bitter-alcohol appears. Watery mouthfeel with a slight creamy feel. Light bitterness at first, in the taste, to then go to a malty flavour and fade away into the aftertaste, with some light corn. Other than the smell, nothing offensive on this one. An average imported lager.

Bottle at bar in Logrono, La Rioja, Northern Spain 01.07.11 Pours mid gold with busy carbonation. Typical lagery taste, bit corny, bit metallic, bit forgettable, but refreshing at the time. A6 A4 T5 P2 Ov11 2.8
